Rakuten Eagles announced on the 6th that they will begin accepting applications for the 2027 Tohoku Golden Angels official cheerleader auditions for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles starting Tuesday, October 6th.

The 'Tohoku Golden Angels' have been active since their formation in the 2005 season, the first year of the team's founding, with the goal of becoming a 'bridge' connecting the Rakuten Eagles, the fans, and the local community. Their activities are wide-ranging, including not only cheering at the stadium but also regional revitalization through visits to various parts of Tohoku and the nurturing of the next generation through instructor duties at the Rakuten Eagles Academy.
