Hatsuhiko Tsuji and Masaki Saito, who appeared on 'Professional baseball News 2026' broadcast on Fuji TV ONE on the 5th, mentioned the Softbank Hawks relief pitchers.

The Softbank Hawks' team relief ERA was the only one in the league in the 2.00 range (2.26). Mr. Tsuji evaluated them, saying, 'If it were a report card, everyone would get a 5.' He analyzed, 'Tsumori-kun is one example, and Kimura-kun is another. Suzuki-kun is also very good, and Tsumori-kun has appeared in 51 games. Last year he pitched in various situations, but this year I feel like he has earned a level of trust where he is specifically being allowed to pitch in games they are winning.'

Mr. Saito evaluated the performance of the rookie Gota Suzuki, stating, "pitcher Gota Suzuki. Having a player who can bridge the 6th and 7th innings allows him to be used like a second starter. I think he was extremely valuable."
