Lotte's Yuji Nishino will start in the game against the Seibu Lions starting at 18:00.

Nishino commented through the team, "Although there were things I couldn't do due to injuries and other factors up to this point, since I'm being given the opportunity to pitch at the end of the season, I hope to show that I can pitch firmly."

Nishino has pitched 34 2/3 innings across 6 games so far this season, with a record of 1 win, 2 losses, and an ERA of 4.41. This will be his first time on the mound for the first team since the game against the Rakuten Eagles on May 23rd.
