Lotte's Shota Suzuki secured his first career title for best reliever pitcher on the 2nd.

Suzuki pitched in the 7th inning of the Softbank Hawks game on the same day with the score tied 1-1, recording a hold by pitching one inning without any runs. With this, his hold points for the season reached 39. Since Yuki Matsumoto (Softbank Hawks), who is in second place with 36 hold points, has only two games remaining for the Softbank Hawks and cannot catch up to Suzuki's 39, Suzuki has secured his first title, even though he is not the closer.

Suzuki expressed his joy through the team, saying, 'I am honestly happy. As a baseball player, I have worked toward this goal, so it has been a wonderful experience for me. I believe it is thanks to the manager who trusted me and played me this far. The season isn't over yet, but I need to continue this next year and the year after, so I want to work even harder.'

Attention is focused on whether Suzuki can match the club record of 43 hold points set by Naoya Masuda in 2012 with four games remaining.
