Masami Ishigaki will change his registered name to "Katsumi Ishigaki". Ishigaki, who joined Chiba Lotte Marines in the 2024 active player draft, played in 20 games for the first team in his first year with the team last season, recording 2 At Bat 14 hit for a batting average of .143.

◇Tohoku Rakuten Eagles "myfavE jersey 2026" design decided!

Rakuten Eagles will be holding their "myfavE DAY Supported by Rakuten Eagles Card" event during their games against the Tokyo Yakult from May 29th (Friday) to May 31st (Sunday). It will be three days where people of all genders and ages can fully enjoy their favorite Rakuten Eagles.

The design for the "myfavE jersey 2026," which was solicited in preparation for the event, has also been decided. After a first round of judging and a second round of judging in which the players also participated in voting, Haruka's design was selected as the best entry.

The theme of the "myfavE jersey 2026" is "refreshing." Based on a gradient inspired by a cream soda, the light yellow lines represent the light of win. The "myfavE jersey 2026" will be distributed on Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st, and an "original fragrance sachet" with a "refreshing" scent will be distributed on Friday, May 29th, to the first 15,000 people with a game ticket for that day.
