Seibu Lions announced that it has signed a sponsorship contract with Cybozu Inc. for uniform sleeve advertising. As part of this agreement, the team will wear uniform shirts with the "kintone" logo on the right sleeve starting with spring training, which begins on February 1st.

The team's ace left-handed pitcher, Chihiro Sumida (26), expressed his determination through the team, saying, "After listening to what you said, I learned that the team's employees use Cybozu's tools to help manage the stadiums where we play and coordinate events. I feel that they are truly helping the entire team move as one 'team.' With the logo engraved on my right sleeve, I will play to the best of my ability to show our fans the best teamwork and continue to win."

Seibu Lions has previously introduced Kintone, a cloud service provided by the company that uses no-code and AI to create apps that systemize and streamline business operations. The service has been used primarily in the sales department as well as for managing schedules related to professional baseball events.
