On October 10, Ono Boys (Hyogo Higashi Branch) held a baseball class in Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture, inviting Orix Buffaloes and Keita Nakagawa infielder (29) as instructors.

This was the sixth annual New Year's Eve event by aspiring professional baseball players. Nakagawa played the role of instructor for the fourth time, and the Ono Nine supported about 50 elementary school students from the neighborhood who participated in the event. Nakagawa looked warmly at the ball players as they practiced tossing and defense hitting, and sometimes gave them advice. During a demonstration of toss batting, Nakagawa hit a ball over the wall, and the children said, "Wow, it went in! That's amazing!" and "That's amazing! and "That's amazing!

Nakagawa encouraged them, saying, "I think everyone loves baseball, so have fun. That's the shortcut to getting better. Just have fun." Having experienced the greatness of the pros up close, Koyabu said with a sparkle in his eyes, "The distance they hit the ball was incredible. I want to train hard and be able to hit the ball like that." With the branch qualifiers for the national spring tournament about to begin, Captain Kato seemed inspired, saying, "I want to win so far that Nakagawa will know about us."
