On the 28th, Lotte announced that they will be selling tickets with a set of merchandise, including a "Misho Nishikawa Rookie of the Year Award commemorative bobblehead," for the game against Rakuten Eagles on Wednesday, April 29th (national holiday) (Zozo Marine Stadium, game starts at 2:00 p.m.), on a first-come, first-served basis (15,000 tickets).
This bobblehead features a design of Nishikawa holding a bat and a shield bearing the letters "ROY," symbolizing the Rookie of the Year award. Whether or not you want the merchandise can be selected when purchasing tickets for all seat types except the visitor outfield cheering section (there is no price difference depending on whether or not you choose the merchandise; this also applies to season ticket holders and home outfield cheering section My Seat holders).
Purchasers of tickets with merchandise will receive one "Misho Nishikawa Rookie of the Year Award Commemorative Bobblehead" for each eligible ticket. Details of the pick-up location and precautions can be found on the team's official website.
Tickets for the game against Rakuten Eagles on April 29th will go on sale sequentially through a web-only lottery for special seats for paid fan club members, starting at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 13th.
▼ Misho Nishikawa outfielder Comments
"I was able to win the Rookie of the Year award last year, and I am extremely honored to have a bobblehead made to commemorate that. Every detail has been carefully recreated, and when I saw it for the first time, I was both surprised and delighted. I hope that all the fans who support me on a daily basis will enjoy it. I will not be satisfied with being the Rookie of the Year, but will aim to become the batting hitter and will play my hardest in every game to contribute to the team's win!"
