On the 28th, Softbank Hawks announced its slogan for 2026. It was decided to be "Zenshin" (All-New). Manager Hiroki Kokubo unveiled it at Mizuho PayPay Dome.
This season, they will compete as the 25th Japanese champions. The manager explained, "The slogan 'Zenshin' (completely new) represents our desire to create a completely new team. Also, we don't stop at winning. We have to move forward in a new way, hence 'Shunshin' (forward). And finally, it also includes 'Wholehearted' (whole body), meaning we will fight with all our heart and soul on ground for our fans." With this slogan, which combines three meanings, they aim to achieve their first three consecutive league championships since relocating to Fukuoka.
They also announced a pose that has become an annual tradition. It is modeled after the slogan mark, which Manager Kokubo said "shows our determination to win a third consecutive championship," with the back of the right hand facing forward and tilted to the side, with the index, middle, and ring fingers extended. He also called on fans to "spread the simple pose among you all, which will also benefit the team." In the past two years during their consecutive league championships, the pose was "VIVA" (Miwa) in 2014 and "PS" (peace) in 2015.
