Mizuno Corporation announced on the 27th that its baseball specific artificial turf, MS CRAFT BASEBALL TURF, will be used at MIZUHO PayPay Dome FUKUOKA home of Fukuoka Softbank Hawks starting in the 2026 season. This will be the first time that Mizuno artificial turf will be installed at MIZUHO PayPay Dome FUKUOKA.

MS CRAFT BASEBALL TURF was first adopted at a professional baseball home stadium in 2016. Its improved durability has helped improve players' playing performance, and it also has excellent resilience for artificial turf in the increasingly diverse use of dome stadiums. It is currently being used at professional baseball stadiums across Japan.

In addition, Fukuoka Softbank Hawks "Tama Home Stadium Chikugo," the home of the 2nd Army, was also reupholstered with "MS CRAFT BASEBALL TURF". At Tama Home Stadium Chikugo, an outdoor stadium, the surface layer is filled with "Field Chip Greentea (Green Tea)," which is expected to suppress the rise in surface temperature ground during the summer by approximately 7°C compared to ordinary filling materials, reducing the burden on the players' bodies.
