Rakuten Eagles announced their second baseman and third uniforms for 2026 on the 24th.

The visitor uniform, which marks the team's first complete redesign, has been renamed second baseman uniform. Based on the passionate red used in the "TOHOKU PRIDE jersey" design, it features a "Tohoku Stripe" design that weaves together the lines of six prefectures.

The concept of the 2026 third uniform is "TOHOKU SPARKLESS." It uses the same vibrant pink color as the "EAGLES SUMMER 2025" jersey, which led to a high winning percentage on the days worn last season, and features silhouettes of each prefecture in the Tohoku region. The uniform will be worn by players during 17 games of the "EXCITING Series" to be held at "Rakuten Eagles Mobile Saikyo Park Miyagi."

pitcher Masaya Nishigaki (26), who participated in the uniform presentation, wore second baseman uniform. "I haven't had the chance to wear a striped uniform for a long time, so I can enter the season with a fresh feeling," he said with a cheerful voice.

outfielder Daisuke Nakashima (24), who wore the third uniform 2026, vowed, "Personally, I really liked the pink last year, and now that the shapes of the six prefectures have been added, I want to work hard with renewed enthusiasm in this evolved uniform."
