楽天・江原雅裕投手（２５）が２４日、同級生の加入を喜んだ。海外ＦＡ権を行使して巨人に移籍した則本の人的補償として巨人から田中千晴投手（２５）が加入することが前日に発表。田中千とは国学院大の同期で、今オフの自主トレも一緒に行った間柄だ。江原は「びっくりしました。自主トレも一緒にやってたんで、お互い頑張ろうという話をした中で、こういう形になったのでうれしいですし、一緒に頑張っていきたいなっていう思いです」と声を弾ませた。
