Seibu Lions Lions manager Fumiya Nishiguchi selected four players to take part in the first-team training camp.

Seibu Lions Yamato Fuji pitcher Sou Sato pitcher catcher Haruse Narita pitcher On February 22, the National League Baseball Association held a staff meeting in Tokorozawa, Saitama, and decided on the members for the spring camps to be held in Nango, Miyazaki, and Haruno, Kochi, starting on February 1. All of them have no first-team experience at this point. None of them have experience in the first team at this point in time.

Manager Fumiya Nishiguchi expressed his expectations for the four players, saying, "I saw them at last fall's training camp and they showed something great. I'd like to see more of them." Also, pitcher Mitsunari Takahashi (28), who has decided to stay with Seibu Lions despite declaring his intention to try his luck at the majors, will start the first-team training camp in Nango, Miyazaki.

The allocation of all players is expected to be announced at a later date.
