Rakuten Eagles ambassadors Ginji and Takero Okajima, who were teammates with Andrew Jones, who played for Rakuten Eagles in 2013 and 2014, congratulated him on his induction into the National baseball Hall of Fame.

Ginji, who batted cleanup alongside Jones in 2013 when the team won its first Japan Series championship, commented, "AJ, congratulations on your induction into baseball Hall of Fame.
