Regarding the joint voluntary training for new recruits so far, he said reassuringly, "I have experience with high school baseball training, so I don't think it's that tough right now."

Looking ahead to spring training camp starting on February 1st, he said enthusiastically, "I'm looking forward to getting used to it and making sure to show off what I can do.
