The 12 rookie players for Rakuten Eagles are currently conducting joint off-season training overseas.

This is the first time the team has conducted joint voluntary training for rookies overseas, and it is scheduled to begin on the 10th and run until the 22nd.

Draft pick number one, pitcher Sota Fujiwara (22) = Hanazono University =, whose move into the dormitory was delayed due to poor health, also participated without incident. He commented, "I got off to a slow start, but I think I've been doing well so far. It's a different environment from Japan, but I've been able to concentrate on training with my teammates. I'll do my best in the upcoming joint voluntary training so that I can make a good impression from the start of camp."
