On the 18th, Orix Buffaloes 's first draft pick, pitcher Atsuya Fujikawa (18) of Nobeoka Gakuen High School, vowed to improve together as the "Atsumori" duo. In Maishima, Osaka, he participated in an online talk show with second-round pitcher Haruki Mori (18) of Osaka Toin High School. "I'm glad we got along well, and it's easy to work together. It's nice to have someone like that (in the same year)," he said, expressing his appreciation, and the two envisioned a "Miyakure-level" rise to success.

Fujikawa had been aware of the presence of Mori Yo, a fellow 153 km/h right-handed pitcher in the same grade, since high school. "He's the best (in our generation). He was incredible when he was a freshman. He throws some really good pitches," he said, and after joining the team, they became close enough to play catch together. On the team, Miyagi, the 1st pick in the 2019 draft, and Kurebayashi, the 2nd pick, have grown from high school graduates into the ace and starting short stop. When he heard that the two seniors, six years his senior, were competing in the number of win and Home Run, the 183 cm tall Fujikawa drew laughter with an unexpected joke, saying, "I think I'll grow a little taller, so I want to win."

In response, Mori Akira, who is 190cm tall, quickly retorted, "That's impossible! What's with this guy (lol)?" He then threw down the gauntlet, saying, "I don't want to lose in struck out," and promoted his impromptu duo name to fans. "Let's use the kanji for Atsuya's 'Atsushi' and 'Mori'... Atsumori, that's great!" He plans to make a big break with his "partner."

"He's pretty good, so I think he can sing normally now," said Fujikawa, who responded to Moriyo's unreasonable request by performing a cover of Ozaki Yutaka's "I LOVE YOU" during the show, already exuding the air of a beloved character. Their dream is to heat up the atmosphere on and off ground together. It seems a new star is about to be born at Olympus. (Nambu Shunta)
