The article, titled "'BIG THANKS' A message of support for Takahiro Norimoto's decision in his 14th year," looks back on his achievements during his time with Rakuten Eagles, along with comments from Norimoto himself.

Finally, a video message from Norimoto himself was shown, in which he said, "Now that I've decided to leave The Eagles, I want to do my best to achieve results with a new team. You've all supported me for 13 years, so now it's my turn to show you my success and become a source of energy for you all. I would be happy if you would continue to support Takahiro Norimoto. Thank you for your continued support."

In his first year as a pro in 2013, he won 15 games and was named Rookie of the Year, contributing to the team's Japan championship. He has achieved double-digit win eight times in total, including six consecutive years of double-digit win since his first year. From his second year in 2014, he has pitched 180 or more inning for five consecutive years and strike out for four consecutive years. He has won the most strike out title for five consecutive years, and in 2017 he set a new professional baseball record strike out in eight consecutive games.

In 2024 and 2025, he was a full-fledged relief pitcher, and in 2024, he won the most saves title with 32 saves. In total, he made 373 appearances, with a record of 120 wins, 99 losses, and 48 saves. He will start a new challenge with The Giants, carrying the memories of his 13 years of hard work in Tohoku.
