This season, when the two appeared on stage for their hero interviews at the same time, they promised to perform Shimada Tamayo's gag "Pantytex."
Led by Tamayo, who said her panties had gone missing on stage, the two nailed the gag, "Tamayo! Pantytex!" They then danced around to an evolved version, "Panty Orix Buffaloes!" Then, in the talk corner of the second act, Takioto and Akisada Ryotaro, comedians who love Orix Buffaloes asked them to "do Pantytex in the hero interview," to which Teranishi replied, "If we can both do it," and Mugiya agreed, saying, "That's something we can do."
In a press conference after the performance, Mugiya revealed how serious his "partner" was, saying that Teranishi "made him practice about 20 times" beforehand. Teranishi sighed in relief, saying, "It was the most nervous I've ever been in my life. I want to use this opportunity to perform well on the big stage (without being nervous)." Mugiya, who said he wasn't nervous at all, made a perfect tsukkomi analogy, saying, "The funny and tsukkomi (comedian's) (professional comedians) were as sharp as Soya (Ryuhei)'s slider," making Teranishi groan, "That was great!"
