Orix Buffaloes outfielder Yusuke Mugitani (23) and pitcher Naruki Teranishi (23) appeared at the "Yoshimoto Shinkigeki x Orix Buffaloes The Buffaloes ~A Night When Kansai Becomes One~" event at the Cool Japan Park Osaka WW Hall in Chuo Ward, Osaka City on the 16th. Mugiya, who is from Miyagi Prefecture, and Teranishi, who is from Ishikawa Prefecture, were baptized into the authentic Naniwa culture.

First up was the mascots, Buffalo Bull and Bell. They appeared as classmates of Sakai Ai, the only daughter of Kagetsu Udon, and performed a gag where they appeared in the audience in time with the owner, Kawabata Yasushi's, signature line, "Kaaa!" Then, Ai's grandfather, GM Kanpei Hazama, made them "go over" and Ai teased them, saying, "Bull got third place in the class popularity poll. Shinjo came second, and Kokubo got first!", causing them to stumble... Just as you'd expect from popular characters representing Osaka. They left a lasting mark before storming away.

Next up was actress Shimada Tamayo, who had been filming a drama nearby. She's a 55-year-old Cinderella girl who beat out 6,000 other people in an audition to play the role of "Kyocera Dome Osaka." Called over by Tamayo, her co-stars, the two Ori Warriors, also appeared in their uniforms. One second after taking center fielder to the applause of the fans, Mugiya was flicked in the crotch with a "ponta ponta" sound, and Teranishi was also flicked in the crotch, with the comment, "You look like Yoshizawa Ryo. A national treasure!" Teranishi clapped his hands in delight.

Tamayo says that she cannot act well unless she is showered with love. All the other actors leave the stage, leaving only Tamayo, Mugiya, and Teranishi on the stage. Mugiya is not entirely opposed to Tamayo's compliment, saying, "You have a beautiful face. I have a friend named Kitagawa (Hirotoshi), and a while ago his face was like a rock." However, for some reason, Tamayo's panties have gone missing.

Teranishi: "That's terrible."

Mugiya: "Are you okay?"

Despite being teased about their overly serious lines in a low voice, the three continued with the performance of "Pantytex." They then showed off an evolved version, "Panty Orix Buffaloes," to the fans, drawing thunderous applause.

Orix Buffaloes and Yoshimoto Shinkigeki have been friends for 20 years. The series began on March 10, 2006, in the middle of the exhibition games. Eleven key players, including infielder Kazuhiro Kiyohara, and manager Katsuhiro Nakamura (all titles at the time) appeared at an event held at Namba Grand Kagetsu. Kiyohara slaps Shimaki Joji on the head, and pitcher Masato Yoshii (former manager of the Lotte Marines) falls flat on his face at Ikeno Medaka's jokes.
