Lotte's third-year pitcher, Oto Hayasaka (20), attended the "2026 Coming of Age Ceremony" hosted by his hometown of Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, on the 12th.
Hayasaka, who attended the event in a suit, commented, "I attended my local Coming of Age Ceremony. It gave me a renewed sense of determination. Last year I was able to make my debut in the first team, and this year I will use that experience to do my best to contribute to the team, including achieving my first professional win."
This is his third season since joining the team from the prefectural Makuhari Sogo High School. Last season, his second year as a professional, he pitched in nine games, gaining valuable experience. With the support of his hometown fans as his strength, he is energized on mound at Zozo Marine Stadium.
