Seibu Lions 's joint voluntary training for rookies began on the 10th at Carminique in Tokorozawa City, Saitama.

On the first day, many team officials, including manager Nishiguchi, observed the event. After warming up and playing catch ball, the rookies were divided into two groups: pitcher and fielder.

The manager expressed his expectations, saying, "There are about 20 days left until the start of camp, so I hope they will build up their physical strength in preparation for camp. I hope they will grow into players who can carry The Lions on their shoulders in the future."
