
Seibu Lions 's joint voluntary training for rookies began on the 10th at Carminique in Tokorozawa City, Saitama.
In the morning, the players warmed up, played catch, and practiced batting practice, then split into pitcher and fielder for practice.
As it was an open day for the public, many fans packed the stadium on the first day. After the morning practice, first-round draft catcher Taiga Kojima (Meiji University) took part in some outdoor tee batting practice, and in front of the gathered fans he vowed, "We will all work hard so that the 2025 draft will be remembered as the best draft ever," to which he was met with warm applause.
