On the 9th, Seibu Lions announced that they had held a press conference in Taipei, Taiwan to announce the signing of Lin An-ke, who signed a contract as a controlled player in November last year.

In addition to Lin, the press conference was attended by President and CEO Tsuyoshi Okumura, Senior Advisor Tetsuya Shiozaki, as well as Commissioner Tsai Chi-chan of the Taiwan Professional baseball League CPBL, Secretary General Yang Ching-long, Chairman Tu Chi-sei of Lin's former team, Uni-President The Lions, General Manager Su Ti-an, and Manager Lin Yue-ping.
