On the 9th, Orix Buffaloes announced that Special Advisor (SA) Satoshi Nakajima's position would be changed to Senior Director and Field Coordinator (SD). SA Nakajima led the team to three consecutive league championships as manager from 2021 to 2023. He retired at the end of 2024 and was appointed SA in January 2025. He contributed to the team's organizational aspects, mainly by acquiring foreign players. Team General Manager Obama explained, "We would like him to contribute to improving the team's strength in a wide range of areas, such as strengthening the team's management and development departments.
