On the 8th, Rakuten Eagles announced that joint voluntary training for rookies will be held overseas from the 10th to the 22nd.

The rookie joint training camp is usually held in Miyagi Prefecture, and this will be the first time for Rakuten Eagles to hold it overseas. Details such as the location have not been made public.

Second-round draft pitcher Ito Itsuki of Waseda University said, "I've seen footage and articles on TV and in newspapers about the joint voluntary training sessions for senior rookies. This time, the joint voluntary training session for rookies will be held overseas, so I think the environment will be different from usual, and I'd like to absorb as much as I can."
