Nippon-Ham 's second-year pitcher, Ryusei Fujita, reflected on his independent training in the US with Tatsu on the 7th, vowing to make a leap forward this season. He traveled to the US with Tatsu for about two weeks in December last year to learn about training methods. "It was nothing but fruitful. In Japan, we do a lot of functional training, which is movement-based training. We work hard on lifting weights and things like that, but the foreigners have already finished that, so there is a lot of movement training that focuses on how to apply that to baseball. I think I can make use of it during the season, but not everything will be good, so I will try to be selective about what I do," he said, reflecting on his fulfilling days.

During the offseason of 2012, he went out to dinner with Tatsuya, who was training in the US on his own, in May of last year, and confessed his desire to go to the US. He received a call during the Phoenix League in October, and his wish came true. "I've said from the beginning that I wanted to go to the major leagues, so I thought it would be good if I could absorb the good things first." The 19-year-old, who will be making an estimated annual salary of 7.7 million yen in his first year, has devoted himself to his studies, paying around 2 million yen for round-trip airfare and training fees.

On the other hand, he said that Tatsuya paid for all of his meals, and expressed his gratitude to his senior for his manliness, saying, "It really helped me out. Tatsuya did all the driving, so next year I think I'll get my driver's license so I don't cause any trouble." In terms of food, he refrained from eating out and instead focused on cooking for himself. "Towards the end, Tatsuya was cooking. He grilled steaks and all sorts of things. He watched YouTube and did it like a real chef," he said, reminiscing about his days in a foreign country.

Shinjo also expects "I think Fujita-kun will come out too," said Shinjo, the second left arm of the 24-year DRA. He is 198 cm tall. He is 198 centimeters tall, and he has successfully improved his body weight from 96 kilograms when he joined the team to 110 kilograms. I would like to pitch for the first team, but I still have a long life ahead of me, so I will take care of what is in front of me first. I hope I can become pitcher a player who can stay in the first team when needed. This year, I will not be in a hurry.
