On the 6th, Lotte announced that Akito Takabe had donated 1,020,000 yen to the "National Network for Supporting Children with Rare Diseases," a certified NPO.

Takabe himself, having experienced the battle of illness as a family member, has wanted to support children battling illness and their families since joining the team, and began supporting pediatric cancer in December 2022. In the same year, he started a donation program based on his performance, donating 10,000 yen for each hit he gets. In the 2025 season, he donated 1,020,000 yen based on his 102 hit.

Donations to the National Network for Supporting Children with Serious Illnesses is a program aimed at families with children with serious illnesses or disabilities. It creates opportunities for families in similar situations to exchange opinions and information, encourage each other, and focus on providing emotional care for families rather than providing direct financial support to families and children, creating opportunities to encourage them to live with their children.
