Ruan Otsuka moved into the dormitory with a stuffed toy of Lotso, a character from the Disney movie "Toy Story" (on the right is Cubby the Bear, the mascot for Nippon-Ham).

Nippon-Ham infielder Rui Otsuka, of Tokai University, moved into the Yusho Dormitory in Kamagaya, Chiba, on the 5th, along with a stuffed toy of Lotso from the Disney movie "Toy Story." The stuffed toy, which he bought at Disneyland during his university days, is his favorite, and he said, "I sleep with it. He plays a bad guy in the movie, but he looks cute. And he smells like strawberries." He moved into the dorm with his good buddy.

His mother's family home is a soba restaurant called "Okoshiji" in Kanuma City, Tochigi. He worked at the front of the store over the New Year holidays, helping out with serving food and serving customers, and he says, "Many people encouraged me to do my best," giving him strength. "I think if I work hard, more people will come to the store. I'll do my best." One of the best short stop in the university, who was also selected as a University Samurai, is starting a new chapter in his life, carrying the expectations of the restaurant on his shoulders.
