Tohoku Rakuten Eagles Takahiro Norimoto donates to Chance for Children

Tohoku Rakuten Eagles pitcher Takahiro Norimoto donated 2,800,000 yen for the 2025 season to Chance for Children, a public interest incorporated association. This is the seventh consecutive season since the 2019 season.

Chance for Children is a public interest incorporated association that aims to eliminate educational disparities between children caused by economic disparities within families and to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty. This season, pitcher Norimoto has set a goal of donating 50,000 yen for each appearance he made, and has donated a total of 2,800,000 yen over his 56 appearances.

"Following my own childhood experiences, I wanted to create opportunities for children to be able to challenge themselves to do what they want on an equal basis, so I made this donation again. This season, I had some disappointing experiences both as a team and as an individual, but I feel that I was able to help the team in some small way throughout the year by pitching in 56 games, more than last year. However, I am not at all satisfied with my results. I have not yet decided what I will do next season, but no matter what team I am on, I would like to continue swinging my arm with all my heart in the role I am given."

◇Saitama Seibu Lions acquires two new foreign players

Saitama Seibu Lions signed player contracts with Alan Wynans pitcher on the 18th and Alexander Canario on the 19th.

Alan Winans pitcher is a 30 year old right hander from the US who pitched in 21 games in AAA last season. He started 18 of those games and ERA posted a 1.63, 12-1 record. number is "30".

◇Partnership agreement with Orix Buffaloes Socks brand "STANCE"

On November 10, Orix Buffaloes signed a partnership agreement with STANCE, a sock brand from California, USA, developed by Custom Produce Co., Ltd., for official baseball socks.

In MLB, all 30 teams have worn STANCE since 2016, and special socks only for that day are also worn during special events such as "Mother's Day" and "All-Star". baseball Socks that combine both gear-like elements and fashion to improve performance support the player's performance from the feet.
