Rakuten Eagles 's Taisei Tsurusaki updated his X account on the 26th, reporting that he had passed the real estate agent qualification exam.
Tsurusaki revealed, "I studied using the time I had outside of baseball, and I passed with a score of 39," adding, "It's not that I wasn't focused on baseball at all; I studied while being 100% focused on baseball. I just used the time I would have spent refreshing myself with eating out, watching movies and Netflix to study, so please don't take offense."
Tsurusaki joined Rakuten Eagles in 2019 as the third overall pick in the draft, after graduating from Keio High School and Keio University. This season, he appeared in 17 games and recorded ERA of 3.62.
