ソフトバンクが獲得した台湾出身の徐若熙（シュー・ルオシー）投手（２５）が２６日、台湾・台北市内で入団会見を開いた。台湾プロ野球・味全から海外移籍制度を申請していたＭＡＸ１５８キロ右腕には、日米の複数球団が強い関心を示す中、ソフトバンクが３年総額１５億円（金額は推定）の好条件で獲得競争を制した。背番号は１８。

徐若熙は１９年のドラフト１位で味全に入団。２１年に１軍デビューし、８１イニングで９８奪三振。２２年７月にトミー・ジョン手術を受け、２３年に復帰。今季は１９試合に登板、５勝７敗、防御率２・０５。通算では６４試合で１６勝１８敗、防御率２・４２。
