Nippon-Ham baseball infielder Kotaro Kiyomiya has caused a stir by posting a photo of himself and Munetaka infielder who recently signed with the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball, from their high school days.

In 2017, both were drafted first overall, with Kiyomiya joining Nippon-Ham and Murakami joining Yakult. On the 22nd, Kiyomiya posted on Instagram, "Murakami! Do your best! I'll do my best too!" and shared a photo of them from their high school days, with shaved heads and wearing their uniforms and practice clothes.
