"My own childhood experiences have inspired me to make this donation again, with the desire to create opportunities for children to be able to challenge themselves equally in the pursuit of what they want to do. This season, I had some disappointing experiences both as a team and as an individual, but being able to pitch in 56 games, more than last year, makes me feel like I was able to help the team in some small way throughout the year. However, I'm not entirely satisfied with my results. I'm still undecided about next season, but no matter what team I'm on, I want to keep swinging my arm with all my heart in the role I'm given."
