Lotte's first-round draft pick, Genki Ishigaki (Kendai Takasaki High School), made his food review debut at the new player announcement event on the 11th.

Towards the end of the new player announcement ceremony, The Marines mascot Mar-kun appeared with a large "corn potage flavored" pie, and Genki Ishigaki, representing the 10 new players, sampled it. Ishigaki smiled and said, "It's a flavor I've never encountered before, and it's very delicious."

While Pai no Mi has 64 layers, the Big Pai no Mi has 128 layers and is three times heavier than the regular Pai no Mi.
