On the 10th, Lotte announced that Yuto Yoshikawa, Yu Tatematsu, and Ryota Nakamura visited Yokaichiba Special Needs School as part of the activities of the social contribution project MARINES LINKS.

A total of 149 students (50 elementary school students, 45 junior high school students, and 54 high school students) participated in baseball experience class and commemorative photo shoot. The name "MARINES LINKS" reflects the desire to "The Marines" everyone associated with Chiba Lotte Marines including fans, local residents, government agencies, and partner companies, with the Marines players at the center.

"A lot of students participated today, and they all participated energetically and enjoyed the class, so I'm glad I was able to join in and have fun!"

▼ Yu Tatematsu

"I was in charge of elementary school students in the class, and they were all full of energy. I was happy that they listened seriously when I spoke. They all had a wonderful attitude towards learning, so I wanted to cherish that kind of attitude too."

▼ Ryota Nakamura

"This was my first time participating in this kind of activity since joining The Marines, so I'm glad I was able to take part. There was a boy who took the class seriously and said, 'I want to become a professional baseball player!' Seeing him reminded me of my original aspirations and motivated me to work even harder from now on. I would like to take part in this kind of activity again!"
