On the 9th, Lotte manager Saburo praised Hanshin Tigers Tigers outfielder Koudai Inoue, whom they acquired in the active player draft, saying, "He's a player with power. We're lacking in extra-base hits, so we have high expectations for him."

Inoue joined the Hanshin Tigers Tigers in 2019 as the second overall pick in the draft from Riseisha High School. In his sixth season this year, he appeared in one game and went hit three At Bat, but he hit three Home Run in 2024.

His power hitting is his main appeal, and he was expected to be a right-handed slugger for Hanshin Tigers, but his progress stalled. He's moving to a different league, but it's reassuring to know that Yasuda, who was two years his senior at Riseisha High School, is on the Lotte Marines team. He'll be looking to impress at the training camp in February next year, which manager Saburo has warned will be tough, and earn a regular spot in his new team.
