Seibu Lions Lions pitcher Kosei Takahashi, who is aiming to move to Major League Baseball using the posting system, participated in a talk show held in Tokyo on the 8th.

When asked by the host about the progress of his move to the major leagues, Takahashi laughed softly and avoided giving a clear answer, saying, "Well, I don't know yet..." but explained his current situation, saying, "I will be playing baseball next year, so I am training in order to play baseball."

During the talk show, Takahashi engaged in a lighthearted conversation with his teammate, catcher Shoya Makino. They shared behind-the-scenes stories from the season, delighting the 108 fans in attendance. Takahashi said, "Thank you for your support throughout the year. I don't know what will happen to me yet, but I will let you all know once it's decided. I hope you will continue to watch over me warmly." Makino also pledged to do his best next season, saying, "It was fun to interact with the fans. I will do my best so that the team can win."

The charity donations collected on the day will be donated to the Japan Search and Rescue Dog Association, an NPO that Takahashi supports as part of his social contribution activities.
