The award ceremony for the annual grand prize of the "Sky PerfecTV! Dramatic walk-off Award" was held on the 4th, with Akabane Yuhiro (Yakult) Central League and Yuya Gunji (Nippon-Ham) winning Pacific League.

On Monday, July 21st, in the 13th game against Hiroshima at Jingu Stadium, Akabane hit a dramatic, game-winning, three-run Home Run walk-off that hit the left field pole in the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs and runners on first and third base in the bottom of the ninth inning, leading the game 4-6.

On Friday, April 11th, in a game Seibu held at ESCON F, with extra inning still 0-0, Gunji hit a dramatic two-run walk-off home run into the right field stands with two outs and Home Run on second base in the bottom of the 12th inning, giving his team their first walk-off win of the season.

Both winners will receive an original trophy and a prize of 2 million yen.
