The winner of the 2025 SKY PerfecTV! Dramatic walk-off Award Annual Grand Prize was announced on the 4th, Nippon-Ham-Ham Fighters catcher Yuya Gunji winning the award.

On April 11th, Gunji came in as a pinch hitter in the 12th inning of the game against Seibu Lions (ESCON) with extra inning at 0-0, with two outs and a runner on second base. With count at 1-2, he Pacific League a two-run walk-off run into the right field stands, a dramatic hit that earned him the Pacific walk-off Award" for April.

Gunji attended the award ceremony held at a hotel in Tokyo on the same day. When he was presented with the trophy and the board with the prize money of 2 million yen, he showed his typical Gunji style by saying, "After I hit the ball, I ran with all my might, but now that I think about it, I should have walked with confidence and looked cooler."
