Go Matsumoto 's salary of 110 million yen this season is considered B-rank by Nippon-Ham, and he can receive either "money (60% of his salary)" or "money (40% of his salary) + personnel compensation" from The Giants. Personnel compensation applies to players excluding the 28 protected players, foreign players, and players selected in the 2025 draft. The team plans to consider both financial and personnel aspects. A team executive said, "I don't think we'll carry it over into the new year," indicating that they intend to reach a decision by the end of the year, taking into account the results of the active player draft to be held on the 9th, etc.
