Chiba Lotte Marines announced that the title of the documentary film to be released on Friday, December 12 has been decided to be "MARINES DOCUMENTARY 2025 To All the Undefeated". At the same time, a teaser video was also released on the movie's special site.
This is the third documentary film that began with close coverage from spring camp and depicts various aspects of the team, including the true faces of the players and the backside of the game, and will continue from 2023. This time, Kentaro Shima from Chiba Prefecture served as the director.
The movie will be released in all 32 theaters for two weeks from December 12 (Friday) (only United Cinemas Makuhari is scheduled to be released until January 1, 2026). A stage greeting will be held at United Cinemas Makuhari on the 12th (Friday), and on the 19th (Friday), at TOHO Cinemas LaLaport Funabashi.
▼Director Kentaro Shima's comment▼
"I was a high school ball player in Chiba Prefecture, and it has been 20 years since I spent my youth aiming for Chiba Marine Stadium with my friends. I had a chance to direct a documentary film for The Marines. The professional baseball players I admired always thought of me as a "winner in life". However, over the past year, seeing them move forward without being rewarded for their efforts, worrying and suffering, I was reminded once again that "professional baseball players are the same people." The Marines I would be really happy if this movie reached not only the fans, but also those who have lost or failed in something."
