Seibu Tatsuya Imai pitcher and Mitsunari Takahashi pitcher, both of whom have announced their intention to challenge the Majors this offseason through the posting system, made their "last pitching appearance" at their home bases.
At the "LIONS THANKS FESTA 2025" being held at Belluna Dome in Tokorozawa City, Saitama, Imai started as the first batter and pitcher for Team Genda, while Takahashi started as the second batter and pitcher for Team Tonosaki in the "Overwhelming Entertainment Baseball" event. Imai threw a total of 30 pitches, including a fastest pitch of 153 km/h, and said with a smile, "I was happy to finally be able to pitch on mound in front of The Lions fans."
Takahashi, on the other hand, threw a total of 21 pitches but allowed Imai to doble down the left field line, and reflected, "I got a little anxious because he hit it so well."
