On the 18th, Seibu announced that they would not be signing a contract with infielder Leandro Cedeño (27) for next season.

He came to Japan in 2011 and played for Orix for two years. This season, his first year with Seibu, he was demoted to the second team three times due to poor performance. His natural power shone through towards the end of the season, hitting Home Run runs in four consecutive games against Rakuten on September 19th (Rakuten Mobile), but he ended up with a batting average of .228 with 51 hit, 7 Home Run, and 26 RBI in 74 games.
