At this training camp, fielder are divided into two groups, a "physical group" and a "balanced group," based on the results of various numerical values such as muscle strength and batted ball speed. Farm manager Koseki, who led the Saitama/Tokorozawa group, summarized the training by saying, "As for fielder, we joined with the goal of strengthening their physical condition as a team, so we created a menu centered around that, and we actually measured their batted ball speed every day, and overall, it has improved a lot, so I think we've seen results so far. We've also measured their body composition, and that has also improved overall, so I think it's going well for now."
He also reflected on pitcher, saying, "Each of them was keeping their own position in mind and thinking about how they could become a valuable member of the first team for next year.The first team pitcher were working on how to improve their performance, so I think that was good."
