Nippon-Ham kicked off their fall training camp at Escon on the 9th. Manager Shinjo was absent for the second year in a row due to a "final update." Each player spent nine days working on overcoming their challenges.

In order to get revenge here next year, I'll tackle the issues and practice I discovered during this training camp and see you again in Nago (Okinawa) when I've grown even more. I'll definitely be the best in Japan next year." Finally, he led the crowd in a chant, saying, "I want to close this training camp together with all of our fans," bringing the ESCON team together as one.
