On the 5th, Nippon-Ham Fighters outfielder Yuma Imagawa Imagawa stated his goal of becoming faster in order to impress manager Shinjo.

He injured the back of his right thigh towards the end of the season and forced himself to play in the CS as a "Moinelo killer," but he is working on his recovery with a different training program during the fall camp.

One thing he is particularly conscious of is making his legs faster. "I've reviewed my sprints again and am being taught my form from scratch so I can become faster," he revealed.

The reason was a comment from Coach Shinjo: "The boss told me I was a slow runner, so I want to show him something. When I got injured, he was like, 'Imagawa, you're a slow runner, but you pulled a muscle.' I want to show him something," he vowed with a smile.
