Softbank Hawks outfielder Kensuke Kondo a member of the Japanese WBC team, joined the team on the 8th. The Miyazaki camp is the final day of the second training session. He will take part in the training session starting with a warm-up, and will then take part in a special batting practice session at lunchtime in the indoor training facility.
He was originally scheduled to join Group S on the 14th, but because the Japanese national team's pre-season training camp was to start on the same day, he joined the team earlier than planned.
