On Wednesday, May 6th (holiday), Chiba Lotte Marines held a farm league regular season against Tohoku Rakuten Eagles, and as part of their social contribution project "MARINES LINKS," they conducted a "pre-game practice viewing and interaction with players" event.
This project included a "practice viewing event" for children aged 13 and under with game tickets, allowing them to watch the players practice before the game from the stands behind backstop. 326 children participated on the day, and after the viewing, a "The Marines Kids Cap Handover Event" was held with pitcher Ryo Sakai and Kyuto Ueda pitcher and players Kiyoto Ueda and Yuya Sakurai.

"I feel that it's very meaningful to be able to introduce local children to baseball through these activities. I would be happy if today's experience sparks their interest in sports and baseball, and I will also strive to become a player who can contribute to the community."
